Things to Consider about Logo Design:
spacer
bulletIt is memorable and immediately recognizable.
spacer
bulletIt would reproduce accurately in black and white, or when scaled down to an inch or less.
spacer
bulletIt is original, and not just a piece of clip-art paired with text.
spacer
bulletIt is pertinent to the service/product that it is representing.
spacer
bulletIt is visually appealing and not overly complicated.
spacer
bulletIt is NOT an actual photograph.
spacer
bulletIt is NOT a picture of several things, like a scene, with some text stuck in somewhere.
spacer
bulletMost of all, it is simple. Simplicity in logo design is a key factor. It's safe to say that in logo design, less IS more.

How does the Virtual process work?
spacer
Upon purchasing a design package from me, you will receive a small, focused questionnaire that will help me to get a good feel for the style and look you're hoping to achieve in your project. From there, I will begin drawing out my ideas, based on the information you provide. We will remain in contact via email, instant messaging or telephone conversations to ensure the scope of the project is fully understood. Generally, email is sufficient in achieving communication goals.

The next step is to create your design in Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign. Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign are part of Adobe's Creative Suite, which is the industry standard for graphic design and digital art.
spacer
When you hire me, you will be involved as much as possible throughout the entire design process, from start to finish. Your involvement allows me to provide you with a product that you will love and can use for years to come.

What You'll Receive:
spacer
bulletAll original files: this means you will have your own copies of all of the master files, which are created in Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign. Illustrator is the vector format of your logo or design. Vector is the format that will allow you to scale your art to any size necessary without losing image quality. Photoshop files are raster-based images comprised of pixels. A photograph is a raster-based image. Raster images allow limited scalability but are the standard for web graphics. Files will be provided to you in digital format (either emailed to you or uploaded to Dropbox) or on CD or DVD (if requested).
spacer
bulletWeb and print ready files, in the size and format required for your project.
spacer
bulletYou will own all the rights to your items. The only need I may have for your designs and images is for use in my portfolio as examples of my work. Your designs are never re-sold.
